SaveFit turns workout videos you save into structured training plans. This policy explains exactly what data the app touches, where it lives, and how to get rid of it. The short version: we store what makes the app work, nothing more, and none of it is shared or sold. The rules for using the app are in our terms of service.
What we store
- Your account — email address and the name you choose to add.
- Your workouts — the routines you import or create: titles, exercises, sets, reps, rest, and optional target weights.
- Your training history — the sessions you complete and the sets you log, so streaks and progress charts work.
- Your preferences — units (kg/lb) and whether reminders are on.
This data is stored on our backend so it syncs with your account, and it is accessible only to you.
Imported links
When you import a reel or video link, our server fetches that video's public caption, thumbnail, and audio track so the workout can be extracted. The link, a text transcript of what the creator says, and the extracted workout are saved to your account. The video itself is not kept, and the fetched audio is deleted after processing.
How videos are processed
Extraction runs on our servers: the audio is transcribed and the transcript and caption are analyzed by AI service providers (speech-to-text and language models) acting as our processors. They receive only the video's public content — never your name, email, or training history — and process it solely to build your workout; they don't use it for advertising.
Payments
The optional SaveFit Pro subscription is purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see or store your payment details. The only thing SaveFit learns is whether your subscription is active.
No ads, no tracking
SaveFit contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no ad networks, and no trackers. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
Notifications
If you turn reminders on, the app schedules a local daily notification on your device. Nothing about notifications is sent to a server.
The website waitlist
If you join the waitlist on savefit's website, we store the email address you enter, only to tell you when the app is available. It's never shared, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
Deleting your data
You can delete any workout at any time from your library. To erase everything, open the app and choose More → Delete account — this permanently removes your account, workouts, training history, and imported data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
